Mark brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the TCV Team. In addition to being a successful entrepreneur, Mark has held senior leadership positions in a variety of companies and industries.  Mark's formal education includes earning a PhD in Chemistry and a MBA with a focus on Finance.
 

As Chief Operating Officer and Director at Sterilex, Mark delivered 30% annual revenue growth over 7 years.  Mark’s finance experience includes a role as Board of Directors at Consumers Specialties Insurance where he provided financial, budget and budgeting leadership to the Board of Directors. In addition to serving as a TCV Director he also overseas the strategic management and commercialization of medical device and therapeutic intellectual property for a University.

 

He is a seasoned business leader and scientist with experience in driving innovation and business growth. With a unique blend of scientific acumen and business strategy, Mark has helped startups and established companies commercialize their technologies and achieve significant market success. His career spans roles across R&D, finance, executive leadership, product development, and operations, uniquely placing him at the intersection of science and business.  He is skilled in preparing companies to be acquired and merged with strategic buyers.
